30% - 50% -80% - 100%??
How much of that worry with which you torture yourself needlessly is based on finances, money, and personal material wants and desires?
Worry is such a wasted emotion and practice! Do you realize that 99% of what we worry about in our daily lives NEVER comes to pass!
It is the Power of the Mind that produces worry and anxiety, as opposed to Strength and Peace - yet the Mind can produce whichever one you truly want and focus upon!
The Power is within you!
How often does the Death or illness of a loved one or friend shake us awake to what really matters in this life?
How many fabulously wealthy people do you know who are miserable, unhappy, sour or terminally ill? Do you think they might trade every penny for their health, or to do it all over again as they review their lives on their Death Beds?
Some perhaps not, but I suggest that almost all realize the futility of wealth without Peace and Love in those last moments when money and cars and jewelry just do not matter in their lives.
Jesus Christ tells us himself, in his own words via Matthew, this very lesson!
Do not miss it as it holds the Key to Joy and Peace!!
"Don't Store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. Store you Treasures in Heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy and thieves do not break in and steal."
"Wherever your Treasure is there the Desire of your Heart will also be."
"That is why I tell you not to worry about everyday life - whether you have enough food and drink, or enough clothes to wear. Isn't Life more than Food, and your body more than clothing?"
"Look at the birds. They don't plant or harvest or store food in barns, for your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you far more valuable to him than they are?"
"Can all your worries add a single moment to your life?"
"So don't worry about these things, saying 'what will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear?' These things dominate the thoughts of unbelievers, but your heavenly Father already knows all your needs."
"Seek the Kingdom of God above all else, and live Righteously, and he will give you everything you need."
"So do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will bring it's own worries. Today's trouble is enough for Today."
